If you are living with sun or photodamage (sunspots, pigment), melasma, or fine lines, LaseMD™ may be a great option for you. The LaseMD ™ is a fractionated nonablative laser, safe for almost every skin type, and can be tailored to have minimal downtime. It offers patients the chance to achieve a “glow” in their face, making for a less dull complexion.
How Does LaseMD ™ Work?
LaseMD’s™ technology works by creating micro-channels with minimal disruption to the first layer of the skin, the stratum corneum while leaving bridges of untouched tissue for faster healing and reduced downtimes. What makes LaseMD ™ so unique is that in creating these precise microchannels we can deliver drug/s (ampoules) directly into the skin to exert maximal effects. The microchannels are then sealed during the recovery process, while the active ingredients delivered by the ampoules, whether it be VA, VC, TA (tranexamic acid ) for pigment, are absorbed into the dermis layer. This is called LADD—laser-assisted drug delivery. Lase MD™ is highly versatile and can treat not only the face, but also chest, neck, hands, and other areas of the body.
What Does LaseMD ™ Treat?
- Uneven skin tone
- Fine lines
- Sun damage (sunspots, pigment)
- Actinic Keratosis

What Patients Are Saying
I had been struggling with melasma on my face for a decade and almost gave up on treatment efforts until I read an article that introduced the LaseMD system for the treatment of melasma. I searched for local specialists and found Dr. Sunny Walia, a Board-Certified Dermatologist & laser surgeon. During our consultation session, she explained to me how the LaseMD works to clear melasma and patiently answered all of my questions about how the treatment would feel, the pros and cons compared with other laser technologies, the efficiencies of LaseMD treatment, etc.
I have now completed all 4 treatments, and am extremely satisfied with the results. Not only did the melasma fade significantly (70-80%), but the skin on my face is glowing brighter than ever. The treatment itself was painless, as Dr. Walia and her assistant Avery were extremely experienced, dedicated, and caring. I looked forward to each treatment session during the past 4 months because the improvement was so visible every time. I now feel much more confident, and really appreciate Dr. Walia’s and her team’s professionalism, expertise, and dedicated care. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is seeking specialized, quality treatment!
