We’re proud to share some exciting news from the recent Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology in Denver—one of the most respected gatherings of dermatology leaders in the world.
Our very own Dr. Larry Green has been named Vice President of the American Academy of Dermatology, a prestigious national leadership role he will hold for the next year.
Dr. Green’s career has been defined by leadership, advocacy, and excellence in patient care. In addition to serving as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University, he has held numerous leadership roles, including:
- Member of the AAD Board of Directors (2019–2023)
- Former President of the Montgomery County Medical Society
- Co-Chair of the Legislative Council for the Maryland State Medical Society
- Recipient of the AADA Advocate of the Year Award
His appointment reflects a deep commitment not only to his patients, but also to advancing dermatologic care at both the state and national levels.
